East Coasters:
How much of your gasoline has ethanol in it? What grades?
Out here, even in corn country, E-10 is still limited to 89 octanes at
about half the stores. 87 and 91 are the other two options, both sans
corn. There's a few E-85's.
I strongly recommend to my friends/customers the avoidance of E-10
products. The test cases I've had produced rough running/stumbling.
