Having recently pulled an reinstalled the old pump, then a new pump,
IMO, you don't need the tool. I had no trouble twisting the pump by
hand. I would suggest running the fuel tank as low as possible before
the work, or if the car is DOA, transfer the fuel out before the work,
makes life much easier.
