The Filament patterns are the key comparison.  Most of the conversion kits installed by the DIY ricerboy's have beam patterns well above the horizontal.  

Below horizontal good, above BAD.

This explains why I'm constantly being blinded by oncoming traffic.  I have no problem when the conversion is done properly. I mean use the proper optics and thoroughly test & adjust the final product.
