[V8] HID's for V8

Interesting...especially about the appearance of the beam color temperature
from inside the car.

I wonder if the HID's have a better ability to pick up deer in the road.
Deer turn opaque in very bright light, and I have had many...too many close
calls.

I wouldn't even THINK of installing HID conversion for DOT Audi V8  
headlights -- only for the Euro lights with proper beam pattern.  As  
to the HID weird color cast -- that is only visible when you are  
looking at the beam from anywhere but in your car.  The clarity and  
'whiteness' of the objects in your path is truly remarkable and  
worthy as an upgrade IMO.  I'm still using the DOT headlights, but  
would certainly want to upgrade to HIDs when I get around to  
installing the Euro headlights I bought a few years back.
