[V8] The faster rats.

The only dashboard issue I have is the airbag warning light(that goes  
out after about 10 min), and was told by an Audi Tech that it's  
telling me that it's time to replace the airbag......Mine came on at  
exactly 100K, and if I'm not mistaken, the service interval is 10  
years.......maybe it was 10/100K in the ECU?......anyway, as the  
dealer wants $1100+ for just the unit, I was tempted to not reconnect  
it when I had the wheel off, but in the end, plugged it back in.  I'm  
fearful of it going off in my face as old fireworks have a tendency  
to do, and contemplated setting it off, and figuring out how to  
trick  the ECU/controller(if it has one) to thinking it it's  
new......didn't even try and hook up the battery with it out and see  
if the light comes on, but will be putting in the new combination  
switch in the near future, and all of this has been on the back  
burner.....maybe someone else can fill in the blanks here?...Tom
