Definitely an FLAPS no-name brand. The rebuilt starter was a Bosch but simply had an incorrect part installed. The solenoid was definitely not as well built as the OEM. OTOH, it has performed perfectly since I rebuilt it...

Was this an over-the-counter rebuilt starter or one
from a Bosch service center? I bought my first
200q20v from a guy who ran an auto parts biz. He'd
installed some aftermarket brand starter. Failed
after a year or so. The Bosch rebuilt I got from a
Bosch service center has worked for 10 or so years.
