My Caddy w/500cid used to get 7 (3km/liter) in the city, 9 (4km/liter) on
the highway...it's THAT bad?!

There's an olm test for the temp sender, but because of it's location
between the head and fire wall, I've found that changing it is much
easier than trying to test it. Last one I bought was cheap, around U$9,
just make sure and get the correct color/temp sender, parts suppliers
(even the dealer) seem to pull whatever sensor or sender they have on the
shelf assuming they're all interchangeable. BTDT a few times.
