[V8] timing belt

 Thanks for  the quick replies. I finished the job this morning.
The biggest trouble I had was that 2 of the water pump bolts
broke.They came out with a little heat and vise-grips.
    The timing belt tension was self explanatory after I took it apart.
I had no wear on the friction pad,but I had already bought one, so now I
have a spare.
    Like the write ups in the knowledge base I was able to do the job with no
special tools. I used a chain wrench to hold the damper, first I put the old
serpentine belt around it so it wouldn't get marred.I used white out to mark
the belt,cams and casings.
     Thanks again for the info., at 152k I hope to get another 60k.
