Out here, in "This is our Country"-Chevy Country, it's a rare treat to
find a German car. I made friends with the local 200 20v and a few A6's
(and that ugly A4 from Colorado with the body kit, yeck).
So when a VW pulls up, it's exciting too. There's a few TDI's in town.
A very, very nice Mk V Golf TDI. And I ask those Jetta drivers about
their mileage. They report about 40 in town, 50 on the highway.
Prius? Or a Golf? Hmm........................ that's about as hard of a
choice as a $30k Camry.. or a $30k C-class.
