We had purchased the extended warranty on the V8, but they refused to take responsibility for the TB break because it was a "maintenance" problem. After much rangling, they finally agreed to pick up half the cost, but get this--they (the stealer) charged $10k for the head rebuilds. Ridiculous.
Would be interesting to know how long people have had them. The thing is, until the last couple years, there just weren't any cars like our V8 to be had so I refused to get rid of it. Some of Audi's new offerings are pretty nice, including the S5, but ouch on the price. I'll wait until the re-sale price gets hammered. ;)
Cheers.
