[V8] ...how long have you had your V8...

Got her in '99 from 2nd owner, 60K miles. Wow that long ago...now has 122K
miles ~ winter driven, but on Vancouver Island that's not much. e.g. very
little salt so still pretty much as new, orig paint and interior. Few dings
here and there. Runnin' great 'cept for the smoky oil leaks reduced by
torquing the head bolts. New infinity spkrs, sony deck and rear amp with
subwoofer.
Feeling a bit cramped compared to the LR3. Hard to believe it was "full
size" back then because it rides like a 4 door sports coupe.
In our hick town there is a white '90 roaming around and another blue one
showed up at a dealer with guts, don't know the year.
What's in the future?? Honestly don't know, I see no reason to toast it, but
if major repair came up, that might be it.

I purchased my first V8 in 1997 with 114k on her...flew to UT and drove her
home to Seattle - it was love at first drive. :) She now has 204k on her.
I still own her, but she gets very little road time now. I'll likely put
her up for sale fairly soon as I just don't drive her anymore.
I purchased my second V8 in early 2000 for my wife. She had 130k on her
when we bought her. I sold this one in 2002.
My daily driver now is my 2001 S8 that I picked up in 2006...once again, it
was love at first drive. :)
Cheers,
Justin
