[V8] sanity check, what, from a V8Q owner?

"wanted to get a quick sanity check from the experts here."


At this moment (blankety-blank V8Q doesn't want to start AGAIN), I am 
seriously questioning my own sanity for owning this damn thing in the 
first place.


I swear it gets jealous - don't drive it for a week or three and it 
sulks. Freshly charged, almost new and known good battery, fresh gas, 
new $300 fuel pump, not an hour old. Cranks but declines to fire.


And once I get it lit up (Molotov cocktail perhaps?), I get to change 
the radiator (old one is starting to clog, runs too warm), rewire the 
connectors for the Eurolights, replace the rubber trim strips between 
the fenders and headlights (bought from Bruce), change the thermostat 
(just in case), and and and and and.


Tell ya what, this may be sacrilege, but I'm actually starting to like 
the sh*tbox Honda Accord - all it does is run, always, every time, 
without fail - got the soul of a toaster and about as interesting, but 
it goes and goes and goes, and asks almost nothing in return besides gas 
and oil changes every 7500 miles (and not ten quarts, either).


/rant mode off, for a while, maybe . . .
