[V8] sanity check, what, from a V8Q owner?

Yes, indeed. I did exactly this on mine when this question came up years 
ago. I noticed a slight hesitation off Idle, that was it. However, if I 
wasn't looking for it, I don't think I would have even noticed it. But, for 
my case, a 1991 V8Q 3.6 Auto all stock will run with it unplugged.
