[V8] Air conditioner blower motor resistor pack

the symptom of a resistor pack problem is usually that the air-conditioner fan runs at only one speed and will not switch off.  The symptom you describe is usually associated with blower motor brushes.  It is a fiddly job to replace brushes but the symptom can be cured (for a time < year) by cleaning the motor brushes\rotor with a no-residue cleaner (electronic board cleaner) - suggest you do not use sand or emery paper.
There are many articles on the procedure in the archives but if you are unable to locate, I will describe the process.

The air conditioner resistor pack is located on the a.c. plinth under the plastic cover at the bottom of the windscreen.
