... the window switches already have LEDs in them ... I'd imagine part of
the motivation for doing this is because LEDs last forever and you don't
have to make it so that the package can be opened.  I guess what I'm getting
at is that the switches aren't the easiest things to repair.  

The bulbs on the dash vents are actually fairly easy to replace, once you
know the secret mechanism built into them.  I posted the details on that one
a long time ago, if you need to do this an archive search should help.

considering the switch if it's worth it.
