[V8] FYI, oil sale

Just letting you all know......

.......Advance Auto Parts has Mobil 1 fully synthetic 0W30 on clearance 
for $1.95

I'll let that price sink in for a second.

Okay.  I picked up 12 quarts.  No idea what I'm going to use it for, but 
the Wal-Mart Effect demanded I buy it merely because it was a great 
price.  The Chebby uses 5W30, probably will throw it in there........ 
unfortunately I just did the oil change.........

I've run it before, in a Porsche.  It's great winter oil but 30 is still 
a little thin for the summer.  The Chevy's bearings are far less worn 
than the Porsches or my Audi's, so at least a 0W40 for the V8.  Might go 
to Mobil's diesel 5W40 next change, a lot of the A4 guys like that for 
it's cleansing power.
