[V8] Heater Box hose leak

I've replaced those rubber coolant lines coming from the core/valve to the engine hard lines & it is a bit of a pain.
I say just take your time & you should have no issues.
Now if it's a core leak you'll have to pull the heater box. Not a bad job. You'd need to pull some connections ect from under the center console area & some under the rain deverter. But you wanna make sure the core ends aren't cracked & are good before you pull it.

With 195K on the car I would be a little leary the condition of the core plastic ends. Just get a good look in there. You may have to pull the wiper motor & get the AC line out of the way & disconnect some wire connections & clean the leaves/junk from under there to get a good look.
The benefit of cleaning the crap from under the rain deverter are there are water drains that could get clogged & let water get into the car.

What kinda coolant you got in the car?

 Ron
