[V8] heater ignores climate control head and swear words

Agree entirely about the difference between the 90 and the 93. Chalk it up
to steering assist, and different shift logic, I think.

I was just cruising around in the 990 v8 the other day and thought for a
minute it was as fast as my 93, but then I realized it's just more, direct,
I guess in how it goes about going and shifting.

Anywho... I'd think the CC issue is related to vacuum and the recirc flap
behind the glove box (accessed from below, from the footwell).

My 94 had a massive air leak in the hard line that runs to the carbon
canister. The symptoms were no a/c when accelerating even mildly and with
the a/c off, heat even with the temp set to a low number (not LO I don't
think).

In some cases, the heater core will still be flowing coolant and if the flap
that closes it off doesn't, you get heat.
