It's the truely modern replacement for the V8.
 
Same kind of ride/handling/excitement without all the voodoo electrical problems (generally), and a newer vehicle with more readily available parts. 
 
It's the rush I experienced from first exposure to the 4.2 V8 and the general grins from the V8 in general.
