[V8] my timing belt

I wouldn't rely on just the appearance of other than factory-installed parts.  A belt that's more than five or six years old should be replaced despite the mileage.

There are a couple nuts on the inside of the filter box attaching it to the back of the engine.

I just looked at my timing belt and it doesn't look too bad. It looks like
it has some non-factory marks on the pulleys, so it seems safe to assume
that it's been replaced at some point. Since the car only has 110k miles,
it should be ok for now right? I have a pic, but I don't think I can
attach
it to this message.

By the way, how do I get the air filter housing off?? I removed all the
screws, but it's still attached somewhere in back, by the firewall. What
should I be looking for?
