[V8] New experience...not welcome, either.

I have my fingers crossed on all of it. I do NOT want to spend a bunch on
this car right now, and I do NOT want to replace it.

I suspect that there is an O2 sensor that has failed....it will be the
second one, the first about 50,000 miles ago, so from my experience, it is
probably about time. At least all the O2 sensors that I have ever
replaced...maybe four of them...have failed after about 50-60,000 miles.

Converters IME "don't go bad" they go bad as the result of something
upstream of them, usually a failed or failing O2 Sensor. The Airbag
could also be the clock spring within the steering wheel, I would vote
clock spring.

Good Luck
