[V8] e-code headlights and safety inspection

If they're properly aimed, I would think nobody would care or notice.
They'll have to look VERY closely to see there are no DOT markings-
and DOT alignment dots haven't been around for more than a decade.
The only thing they might grumble about would be missing side yellow
reflector bits?
