[V8] e-code headlights and safety inspection

.... every state can have different laws, so be sure to take what you see
posted with a grain of salt ...
The V8 has side marker lights, in California this suffices for reflectors.
The turn signals in the front bumper are visible from the side, these will
likely also qualify.
Here in California the front turn signals must give a yellow light, so if
you install clear lenses you're supposed to get a yellow bulb. Of course in
California enforcement occurs when the cops want to rattle your cage for
some other reason ... I find the yellow bulbs here in just about any FLAPS

front turn signals? I recently got some clear turns and installed them, but
forgot to get amber bulbs so I've just been driving around with white front
turn signals. I tried to find the appropriate amber bulbs, but so far I
haven't found them available at any of the local auto parts stores.
Do we have to have amber turn signals in front?
