Definitely the headlights.  Unless they're made in the USA.  Then rice on!

I have smoked taillights on my santorin S4... and my old GTi 16V had
Hella quad headlights.  The outers were 130/90 Watt (from memory), in large
(7"?) reflectors.  I only needed 80-ish watts for the dedicated high beams.
I never lost the "who has the brighter lights on a dark road" war.  I miss
that car.
