Rear window shelf removal requires rear seatback removal. After that it's
just press down slightly where the central depression occurs and pull
forward.

Subject: [V8] Rear deck pannel, Interior, removal ?

I know, I know...
Always with the questions!

I'm trying to remove the whole pannel from the rear of the car to
re-upholster it. As well, it would make putting the C and D (?) pillars
back in many times easier, as it appears they were on first, then the rear
pannel.

I would have pictures, but I can not seem to find my camera, and I'm do not
have a card reader in my desktop for my sister's camera... But...

As far as my reupholster the roof project goes, I've been avoiding the roof
I guess. I re-did all the pillars in a very nice, neutral beige Suede that
compliments the mucky grey fairly well.
I've removed all the demon-glue from the headliner piece, which is oddly
enough made of fiberglass.... and have done a bit of patching here and
there with fiberglass resin. Just need to knock down a few rough spots and
throw down the fabric.

Upholstering with fabric and spray glue is surprisingly easy as you get more
and more used to it. This'll be my second car having done this to, but this
time far more in-depth than previously attempted.

Gotta say though, it looks truely stellar :-D

So, anyone have an idea on that rear pannel? Please, do not start off with
remove the back seat... Fingers crossed.... Oh well, in for a penny, in for
a pound....
