[V8] V8 MPG actual

Seamus,
I very much doubt you pump 19 gallons each time. My guestimate would be more like 17-18 gals. Even on the 4.2 pig with bad valve seals and disconnected 02 sensor I avg 300 miles to the tank (60/40 city/hwy driving). So that's roughly 17.2 mpg. And that's with my occasionally having my foot in it :-)
I think I was getting 10-12 at the track, but then I always had my foot in it...

That's what I'm talking about. I don't remember exactly how many gallons I
put in the last time I filled it, but I always fill it, so I'm guessing it's
around 19gal. On a full tank I get about 250-300 miles before I'm empty and
have to fill up again. So my freeway estimate: 300/19=15.70mpg., city
estimate: 250/19=13.16mpg, and mixed driving being somewhere in between.
