Last night I repaired the oxs wire and made sure the crank and speed
sensors were plugged in correctly. The car started right up and I idled it
for 20 mins. I turned it off,let it sit for 10 min.. and took it for a 10
min. ride. Shut it off and waited 5 mins. and it started.
This morning I ran it for 30 mins. at home, let it sit for 5 mins. and it
started again.
Hopefully the problem is solved, I'll know more in the coming week.
Thanks for everyone's help, I really mean it when I say I couldn't have
kept my V8's without this site.
Thankjs again, George

The single wire is is the signal wire, the most important one, for the OXS.
The two-wire connection is the heater/pre-heater for the OXS to help it
operate more effectively earlier on cold startup.

Finally had some time to work on the car last night. I was able to try
some of the things you guys suggested.
First I started the car, which started right away. I let it warm up for
15 minutes and turned it off. It wouldn't start, which is what I was hoping
for.
I first tried disconnecting the sensor on the rear of the pass. side
head and restarting with the throttle wide open. This didn't work so I
reconnected it and the car still wouldn't start. It did start with starter
fluid.
Next I disconnected the oxs plug (2 wire plug)and the car still wouldn't
start. When I reconnected the oxs I saw the single wire plug was loose and
in fact broken. I think this wire also goes to the oxs also? The car still
would not start.
I then played with the 2 plugs that go to the crank and speed sensors
and saw that the one closest to the front of the car might not have been
seated correctley.I plugged it out and back in and the car started . I let
it run for 20 mins. and it still started, so maybe I found the trouble.
I left the car apart as I still must fix the single plug wire somehow.
Anyone know that this wire is for, and where it goes?
I also tried to test my spare crank and speed sensors, by I 'm not sure
of the 3 wires at the plug, which ones to test.
I also tried to read the codes which I never had to do with this car,
but I had read them many times on my other V8. I quickly remembered that the
other car was a Cali.car and now I have to get a led to read them.
Thanks again,George
