When mine showed these symptoms it was the check valve on the fuel pump.
I did find some FLAPS that listed only the check valve, about $40,
however with about 170K on the clock I opted to replace the entire fuel
pump assembly, as I still had original in car.  To check valve you have
to have a pressure gauge that you can tap into the fuel line, typically
before pressure regulator,  to see if the system holds pressure after
turning off engine.

Well my V8 has become difficult to start.  It still starts every time,
but now it takes 4-5 seconds of cranking before it actually fires.  I'm
guessing it's related to one of the infamous sensors, but where should I
start?
