[V8] Headlight Switch

You will have to remove the steering wheel ... which means the airbag comes
off ... but overall it is not difficult. The nice thing about the V8 over
the earlier T44s is that the switch is in two pieces, so you only have to
pay to replace the side that is bad ... of course if you are swapping with a
different car this won't be too helpful. After removing the steering wheel
and airbag you need to remove the upper and lower column covers. The switch
slides off the column. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Is it a fairly simple to change out a headlight switch on a 93?? Are the
parts still available?

When I brought it for inspection everything worked but the highbeams.? When
you pulled the lever toward you they would work, when you pushed the lever
away from you it would cut all the front lights out (parking and
headlights).? I sprayed a little electical cleaner in there and they started
working properly 75% of the time.? So I figured I'd spray it a little more
and now nothing works low beams or high beams.

Also, I have a 92 that I'm waiting for a power stering pump rebuild and
timing belt job, I was going to use that switch if the job is not to
involved.

Anybody have any experience with the switch?
