Thanks for the replies!!  A friend told me to disconnect the battery and wait 30 plus minutes so I won't have a problem with the air bag.  I that true on the V8's also?  I know these cars have some weird features and I want to make sure there's no "back-up" battery for the air bag.

I had thought about the "Cash for Clunkers" program after only getting $800.00 for the 90 V8  I sold last year, but after 17 years of owning the V8's I just could bring myself to destroying one of these cars.

91 V8

92 V8

93 V8

93 V8 5-spd

You have to pull the steering wheel (and the explosive airbag), take off
he plastic trim, loosen the switch retaining band and disconnect the
iring and you can slide it out to put it on a bench. The lights half of
he combiswitch is/was available separately and can be disassembled from
he wiper side. Probably NLA as new unless you found NOS.

Is it a fairly simple to change out a headlight switch on a 93?? Are the
arts still available?
