[V8] Monkey lad attack thwarted in FL

Called the local Pep Boyz for a quote on changing the timing belt on a Honda Accord - mentioned, do 
water pump at same time.

Quote came to $930 . . .

(Honda dealer gets about half that.)

"Why?"

"Well we have to do the entire job again just to do the pump."

"No, the pump is changed while everything else is off anyway - no more than 20 minutes extra time."

"That's what the flat rate book sez, buddy, ya doan like it, take it someplace else."

No problem - zoooom!



I loathe working on non-Audis, even if they are easier.

Friends don't let friends take their cars to monkey lads . . .
