In order for a bad bump stop to be the culprit, the shock would have to 
fully compress first. If your driving over known bumpy roads, I doubt you 
driving fast enough to compress the shock fully (that is unless you beat on 
your car ) What's more likely the problem, in my opinion, is a bad lower 
control arm bushing, or camber link (in that order) The bushing I would look 
at first, would be the most forward bushing on the lower control arm. 
Depending on the year of your car, this will either have two or three bolts 
going to the chassis and one bolt going through the bushing into the lower
