[V8] Coolant misting into the cabin

You have good instincts - grasshopper....

Not much else it could be. If you do have to replace it, you will  
need to also get the three ridiculously expensive hoses that go to it  
from the dealer.  The way these are formed/bent, there is no  
reasonable way around this.  Also, DO NOT GET THE BRASS HEATER CORE!!!

I did and ended up replacing it again after just a few months.  The  
problem is that the brass does not play nice with the rest of the  
metals in the cooling system, and it quickly eats a hole in the brass  
(ionic reaction or something like that).  There is even a helpful  
note included in the box that tells you this is going to happen.

Also, if you are in there, it really would be silly not to either  
replace the fan motor or at least figure out how to replace the  
brushes. They are certainly near death by now.
