[V8] Black interiors?

Speaking of importing black interiors from European sources made me wonder
if this would really make much sense.  

I wonder what it might cost to have the interior of an existing car's
interior recovered in something entirely new.  I wonder if the cost of
having it done, right down to the door panels and door and window posts
might not end up being less expensive than importing something that might or
might not prove to be really worth using.

In the end, the interior would be entirely new.  It might even be possible
to use completely different seats, assuming that one wanted neither Audi
sport or comfort seats.

Thoughts?
