[V8] One-eyed headlight wiper

If they are misbehaving you may want to unplug them.  I know one time I
heard some odd noise coming from the front of the car ... the noise went
away when I unplugged the headlight wiper.  They seem to be a real PITA to
R&R, but I've never tried ... it just seemed that even when I had the nose
of the car removed there was still stuff I'd need to do the get the motors
out for troubleshooting.  Has anyone had one of these things apart to know
what typical failure mechanisms are?

What's the deal with the headlamp washers?
Now I know they come on when we wash/wipe the windshield, and I've  
taken a quick look when I had
the bumper off to install Euro headlamps, but every now and then, I  
come back to the car, and the right one is squinting up to the sky,
while the left one is parked correctly.
Is there a quick fix. ( like some eye drops!!)
