[V8] my temporary/intermittent reward

All the work that's been done on V8 #2 recently has resulted in a mild improvement in mileage and power, but not much else. The car still isn't right. But, apparently the Audi gods have rewarded me for my effort.

The car's central locking system has never worked since I got it. I always hear the pump start up and run for about 30 seconds to no avail (I once swapped it with a known good pump, too, which had no effect). Yesterday, I unlocked the driver's door with the key then reached into unlock the rear door manually, as I always do, only to discover that the thing was unlocked. Surprised, I looked across the car to see what other doors I'd left unlocked, and saw both passenger-side doors also unlocked. At first, I figured I must have somehow left all the doors unlocked, because they didn't just unlock on their own.....or did they? A quick turn of the key in the lock resulted in 4 locked doors.

I'm guessing that somehow or another, one of the vacuum hoses got moved around or something enough to temporarily seal a leak. I won't look a gift horse in the mouth; I'll just enjoy the time that I have with a working CLS.
