The market on these cars is just not there anymore.? I sold a perfectly running 1990 3 months ago for $810.00.? I put it on ebay and that was the best I could do.? I thought about keeping it for parts, but it wasn't worth the aggravation of removing the part and installing it on the broken car.? The car was a daily driver and ran fine.? I have 4 other V8's and the property tax and insurance per year was just too much of a burden.? I've got two of them now that need timing belts and the cost of the timing belt job is probably close to?about what the cars are worth.? I've got 3 kids in college and in a year and a half (when the first ones out) it's time to upgrade to something new (2002 or 2003 A8).? I've been following the W12's on ebay but I know that would be a BIG mistake.
The wife doesn't understand the addiction (84 Targa in the garage with 61,000 original miles and 89 corvette with 46,000 original miles) There is no time to drive all these cars but somehow I just can't get rid of them.? I put 172 miles on the Targa last year.? Cost was about $3.50 per mile for insurance, registration and taxes.
Anyhoo!!? With this bad economy - I have been trying to downsize the fleet and the Audi's seem to be the best candidate to get rid of.

1991 V8 just fixed voltage regulator and serpentine belt(still needs brakes and CV joint)
1992 V8 leaking steering pump - needs timing belt
1993 V8 - needs timing belt
1993 V8 5spd - runs great but only has 87,000 miles and don't want to drive it
