[V8] Blower Motor Update

I forgot to mention that, years ago, I had developed a high-tech band aid
for my ailing 1990 V8 fan blower motor. This involves taking an eraser from
a PaperMate Sharpwriter plastic mechanical pencil (eraser is about 1/2 inch
long) and shoving it into the small recess that holds the top brush. As the
brush wears down over the years, the spring finally expands so much that it
no longer can apply sufficient pressure to the brush. The eraser
effectively pushes down on the spring that applies pressure to the brush and
pushes the brush down.

Last night, I discovered that, after around 5 years, the previous eraser
that I had installed must have worked its way out and the spring resumed its
state of "no pressure". I installed a new eraser and bingo -- the fan blows
like crazy.

I shall refer to this email as time goes by and let you all know how this
second eraser does.

Again, this has already extended my blower motor's life for at least 5
years. I'm hoping for a few more.

(Why the lower brush (which I cannot see, nor access) continues to work, I
cannot explain. I just continue to cross my fingers on that one.)
