[V8] Trailer hitch

I had a d'lan on a 5000tq, fit nicely. We built a class 2 for the V8, and
it's nice. It's much stronger than the d'lan, but mine was originally built
for the 5000, so it requires removal of the V8 bumper. However, that could
be easily taken into account when designing yours. BTW, I'd recommend using
the larger reciever. It allows for buying much different height drop/raise
hitches, in case you tow something with a large tongue weights (not that I
did ;P ).
The d'lan as well as mine both mount through the factory framerails. In the
case of mine, I used 2" chanel iron on top (in the trunk) for extra support.
Basically, I built is as MB would have in the 60's. No worry of anything
coming loose or bending.
Tony
