[V8] Coolant leak, rear RHS engine

I've been struggling with a coolant leak (amongst many other leaks!)
that's coming from the rear RH (passenger) side of the engine.
A few months ago, I replaced the hoses to the heater core and also
that short little stubby one that goes to the back of the engine.
However, when I was pulling and pushing the rear metal coolant pipes
around, I discovered that the far right one slid out of it's holding
place deep underneath the inlet manifold somewhere. I slid it back
in, but it was a bit disconcerting
Anyway, all that to say, that when I come to the car in the morning,
there's a puddle that drips down the RHS of the bell housing.
The short stubby hose appears dry underneath, (using a mirror), but I
just can't see where its coming from.
The mirror even steams up in that area when I'm running the engine
and checking.

Any ideas anyone?
And if it is that metal pipe that goes to the front of the engine,
does that mean tearing off all the inlet manifold and fuel lines etc?

Mark.
