those mogs r u.  the guy selling it is the owner of the mog company.  his
mother (lady i know) had the car in germany.  i suspect the reason the price
is so high is because he does not want to sell it.

btw, u get the pics of the models i sent u?

 Kinda neat but a silly asking price.  If it's so collectible in Germany
they should be selling it there.  I don't understand the idea of shipping it
here with a pile of OEM parts to 'keep it in the family' and then selling it
off.  Basically it's an upscale Rabbit, which you can get for $1500 (or
less) in this condition and miles.  That's a pretty serious premium for the
four rings and spare parts.  Just because it's the only one in the US
doesn't mean anyone wants it ;)

Funny that it's on a Unimog site.  Talk about a contrast ;)  A guy I do some
business with here in Baltimore has a 'mog.  I love those things!  Not
perhaps the most sensible city car though.
