When the 3.6 was in my V8 there was a persistent oil leak that kept the lower
block awash in oil. After going through the usual culprits of oil senders,
and valve cover gaskets, a wash down of the block and a black light found the
culprit to be the upper oil pan gasket. It cost a bit but I had both the
lower and upper oil pan gaskets replaced and the oil leak was cured.
You're probably going to have to use a black light to track the leak source if
you've looked at the usual places.
