Not trying to harass you, but trailer hitch's are for trucks......and
I've got a bunch of bad stories about inadequate trailer
problems......I've personally got 2 bad trailer stories.....and
neither have to do with a car......let alone a car that's something
that many baby and want "just another year" of no problems with.
Additional wear and tear to the drivetrain(woah) let alone just the
brake system, is something left to a $600 truck.....They're all over
the place.....I've been offered 2 beater trucks in the last year for
free. My 04 Chevy 2500 duramax has HUGE brakes, and after hauling my
new "borrowed" trailer around, I've eaten 30% of the remaining brake
pads in 10K, which in 60K were about half done(built for heavy
use).........moral of the story is that even that the trailer's been
empty alot, it's eating my brakes, and causing much slower brake
times. The truck was overbuilt for me, but the audi wasn't really
built for anything but fun.......just my 2 cents.....Sincerely Tom
