[V8] rear engine coolant leak

I'm pretty sure that with the engine in the car there's no way to replace
the o-ring on that pipe that runs along the valley of the engine without
pulling the intake manifold. I almost convinced myself that there might be
some way to sneak it underneath the front of the manifold ... with the
throttle body pulled you can see the place where the pipe plugs in behind
the thermostat housing & water pump. With the engine out of the car it is a
piece of cake!

No, I actually had to undo a bolt, (or maybe it was two).
I was trying to pull the whole metal tree of pipes back so I could fit that
short stubby hose back on. It was a right pain.

But that pipe disappears under a lot of hardware and it doesn't look like I
can access any O-ring very easily? Or maybe I'm wrong
Or can be accessed from the front of the engine?

Mark.
