Any what? 20vt trans's? If so I sold the last one I had a month or so ago.
Get in touch with Scott Dewitt. I think he's still got an actual V8 5sp trans. Prolly looking to spend $500/400'ish on the trans... but as I noted it IS the best trans for what you wanna do. A 200 20vt trans will work & would be able to handle the power/torque... just the V8 trans is better.
All so, for the archives I suppose.......
The V8 5sp trans has spacific axle lengths. On say a 200 20vt the trans sits to one side a bit more....so one axle shaft is shorter than the other. On the V8 the trans sits more in the middle of the trans tunell... so the axles are both the same length.
Discussed on page3 here a little more than half way down. There should be some pics... then a bit of a discussion about it.
