[V8] V8 Digest V8 17" Tire Size

I'm in the same boat....anchors. My 18's with 255/35 tire weigh in @ close to 50lbs a corner.... but I did remove weight with the BBK's & front coil overs.... sometime you sacrifice logic for looks ;-)

But on the other hand I have a set of Urs4 16x8 fuchs with 225/50 Potenza tires & they are significantly lighter then the 18's.

I haven't experienced any significant hydroplaning, tramling.... I can say that I feel & hear every piece of sand on the road with my suspension setup... with my 18's on the car. But my suspension is new, my spring rates are INSANE & the addition of the bigger front sway bar & adding the rear sway bar setup from the 95.5 Urs6A makes the car feel like it's literally on rails.
I all so run a 10mm spacer in the front & none in the back.
