try running Spybot Search & Destroy if you're running a PC.  Sounds 
like you have something else going on!

Might I suggest avg out of Germany (even have an excellent free 
edition). Have

it on all of my computers -- work and home. It's the only such product

clicked that link, though.  A minute or so after I made that last post a

file I have titled "passwords" spontaneously opened and began scrolling
