[V8] In search of a known good speedometer

Well, we are into my '90 V8.  The new bomb is in place and the speedometer
was pulled yesterday.  The mechanic found (as expected) the odometer gears
were disintegrated.  Everything was cleaned out and new, known good gears
inserted, and the speedo replaced.  Doesn't work.

 

Obviously there is an issue in the speedo head with the little motor that
drives the gears.  

 

So. We are now in search of a KNOWN GOOD speedometer that has all of it
working.  What we would like to find is a low mileage speedometer
head.showing perhaps less than 80,000 miles.  The plan now is to replace the
entire speedometer with one that works.

 

Anyone have one they would like to part with?
