[V8] Cash for Clunkers

I don't have the link to the site right now but there is a site I can  
go to to see if your car qualifies for the cash for clunkers program.   
The V8 certainly qualifies and when I looked it up it was ranked in  
the bottom category of least efficient vehicles.  The mpg is an  
average of city/highway, IIRC the V8 was pegged with a 15mpg average,  
maybe it was 14.  They had it as 18mpg highway cycle and 10 or 11 mpg  
city.

If mine had not been sitting in a barn fir the past 5 years I would be  
all over thos offer, especially since the wife is looking to replace  
her leased FX35 with a new crossover variant.  BMW is offering an  
additional $4500 on top of the gov 3500/4500 incentive on the X5  
diesel model plus a couple other rebates, effectively knocking $10000  
off retail without even having to ask for it.
