[V8] RPM/Crank position sensor Q

If the speed sensor fails the car will not start at all, and it will stall
if the engine is running. If the reference (crank position) sensor fails
when the engine is running the engine will continue to run, but it will not
start. The usual failures are related to heat, so the reference sensor
typically causes a hot start problem and the speed sensor causes the engine
to stall when it is running. During the early stages of the speed sensor
failure you will likely see the tach drop suddenly and recover without
stalling.

Quick question, Which one will keep it from starting and which one will
cause it to not start and die while driving? I forget - I think it is the
Crank position sensor that will just cause a no start? Thanks in advance.
